DJ Snake, né William Grigahcine le à Paris, est un DJ, compositeur, producteur et réalisateur artistique franco-algérien.
Il fait ses débuts à l'international avec le single Turn Down for What en 2013. DJ Snake annonce travailler sur une collaboration avec le musicien Diplo, initialement prévue en 2014 ; elle est annoncée en 2015 avec la sortie du single Lean On en collaboration avec la chanteuse MØ et Major Lazer, le groupe de Diplo. Le disc jockey Dillon Francis et DJ Snake font partie de la tournée Mothership Tour du musicien Skrillex.
Son premier album, Encore est commercialisé le sous le label Interscope Records et son second album Carte Blanche sort le .
