Lindsey Vonn's Virtual Career Day withTennis Champion Caroline Wozniacki
Tune in every week to Lindsey Vonn's Virtual Career Day. Each week Lindsey will bring together a young Lindsey Vonn Foundation scholarship winner and an expert in the field they want to grow up to work in. During these challenging times, Lindsey wants to remind young kids that there is still something to look forward to and nothing should stop you from achieving your goals.
This week's scholar wants to grow up to be a tennis player, so we brought in Lindsey's good friend and singles tennis champion, Caroline Wozniacki.
Caroline recently retired from tennis with a long list of accolades. Including 30 World Tennis Association singles titles, a 2006 Wimbleton Championship, and a Grand Slam Title.

Lindsey Vonn's Virtual Career Day with Neuroscientist Heather Berlin
Every week to during quarantine Olympic Skier Lindsey Vonn is excited to host her Virtual Career Day. Each week Lindsey will bring together a young Lindsey Vonn Foundation scholarship winner and an expert in the field they want to grow up to work in. During these challenging times, Lindsey wants to remind young kids that there is still something to look forward to and nothing should stop anyone from achieving their goals.
This week Lindsey sits down with a young student who wants to grow up to be a scientist. She is surprised with advice from world-renowned American neuroscientist Heather Berlin. Dr. Berlin is an expert in brain-behavior relationships affecting the prevention and treatment of impulsive and compulsive psychiatric disorders. Dr. Berlin is the host of the PBS series Science Goes to the Movies, the international Discovery Channel series Superhuman Showdown, and StarTalk All-Stars with Neil DeGrasse Tyson.
With the abrupt closure of schools, families in need are scrambling to find food programs and childcare for parents who must remain working on the front lines.

Lindsey Vonn's Virtual Career Day with Olympic Snowboard Champion Chloe Kim
Every week to during quarantine Olympic Skier Lindsey Vonn is excited to host her Virtual Career Day. Each week Lindsey will bring together a young Lindsey Vonn Foundation scholarship winner and an expert in the field they want to grow up to work in. During these challenging times, Lindsey wants to remind young kids that there is still something to look forward to and nothing should stop anyone from achieving their goals.
This week we are surprising two scholars, who happen to be twins. Devin and Barrett live in Minturn and want to grow up to be professional snowboarders. So Lindsey arranged to have fellow Olympic gold medalist snowboarder Chloe Kim. Chloe went down in Winter Olympic history as the youngest ever snowboarder to win the gold medal. Chloe is also one of the youngest X Games Champions and World Champions in her sport. Beyond sport Chloe recently was accepted into Princeton University and is studying science.
With the abrupt closure of schools, families in need are scrambling to find food programs and childcare for parents who must remain working on the front lines.

This week's scholar wants to grow up to be a dancer, so we brought in American Ballet Theater Principal Dancer Misty Copeland to give her advice, stories, and encouragement. Misty has been a pioneer in the world of dance, becoming the first-ever African American woman to be named a principal dancer in ABT history. Misty also is an accomplished author, her children's picture book, Firebird, focuses on empowerment for young people of color, While her book Ballerina Body, focuses on health and fitness. -
