Lyrics:
Sleep now darling don’t you cry
If it’s time to say goodbye
This is not the ending
All the light you’re sending down
Maybe you weren’t strong enough
But there’s a place for you my love
Right here in this family
I’ll hold you in the palm of my hand
The bed’s all made
The room’s all ready
All we had to do was bring you home
Chorus:
Going through the dark and we can hold on to your light
Wish that we could give you all this love we feel inside
Might not get to know you
But we’ll see you every night
Cause you’ll always be
the brightest star up in the sky
Always be the brightest
In this place we’ve been before
Right back where our son was born
All those happy memories
Clouded now the walls all turn to grey
This place we’ve been before
A ribbon hangs outside the door
So everybody knows it
There won’t be any miracles today
The bed’s all made
The room’s all ready
All we had to do was bring you home
Chorus:
Going through the dark and we can hold on to your light
Wish that we could give you all this love we feel inside
Might not get to know you
But we’ll see you every night
Cause you’ll always be
the brightest star up in the sky
Bridge:
Here in this empty hallway
Not a day’s going by we won’t think
About the person you’d become
And we will miss you always
Left with so much to say
To the one that got away
Chorus:
But you’ll always be the brightest
Always be the brightest
Always be the brightest
Star up in the sky
Always be the brightest
Always be the brightest
Cause you’ll always be the brightest

LYRICS
Verse
Can’t you feel the tension
Can’t you feel the tension babe
I feel like I’m bending
The way that you pull me down
I never learn my lesson
You make it out like I’m insane
I feel like I’m less than
The way you control me now
Pre chorus
With that look on your face
Like I don’t know my place
Am I supposed to fake it?
Be less than myself just for somebody’s sake
With that look on your face
Like I’m something to break
And you put back the pieces
You put back the pieces
In your favorite shape
Chorus
I love you but you love somebody else
And it’s all I can see
Some kind of twin and I’m not really him
But I’m trying to be
I love you but you love somebody else
And he’s all that you need
He’s the man of your dreams
But he’s nothing like me, no
Verse
Always keep me guessing
Will I be enough today
Man it’s got me stressing
The way that you hold me down
You’re trying to make me better
Keeping me together
It could be forever if I change
I don’t believe a word you say
The way that you come around
Pre chorus
With that look on your face
Like you’re running away
Am I supposed to chase it
Be less than myself just for somebody’s sake
With that look on your face
Like I’m something to break
And you put back the pieces
you put back the pieces
In your favorite shape
Chorus
Post
No he’s nothing like me
He’s nothing like me, no
Chorus
Bridge
Good luck with your fantasy
You won’t put that shit on me
Good luck with your fantasy
You’re gonna need it, you’re gonna need it
Good luck with your fantasy
You won’t put that shit on me
Good luck with your fantasy
You’re gonna need it, you’re gonna need it
Chorus
